Mission

The mission of the Occupational Therapy Department at İzmir Tınaztepe University is to educate occupational therapists who enhance individuals’ health, well-being, and social participation by enabling independence through evidence-based, meaningful, and purposeful occupations. Our department prioritizes scientific inquiry, ethical responsibility, lifelong learning, and community-oriented professional practice. Our curriculum emphasizes client-centered approaches, holistic assessment, and occupational therapy interventions aligned with national and international standards.
