Research Innovation and Entrepreneurship Coordination Office

Research Innovation and Entrepreneurship Coordination Office has been established to enhance the university’s research capacity, encourage the production of scientific projects, support innovative and entrepreneurial activities, and create a sustainable ecosystem in these fields. The Coordination Office operates to ensure the effective management of research and project processes, contribute to transforming academic knowledge into social and economic value, and strengthen the competencies of human resources.

To achieve these goals, three main units have been established within the Coordination Office. The Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit coordinates the application, evaluation, monitoring, and finalization processes of Scientific Research Projects conducted within the university. It also supports the dissemination of a strong project development culture and ensures that research activities are carried out in accordance with relevant regulations. The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit aims to foster an entrepreneurial culture by supporting innovative ideas developed by academics and students, strengthening university–industry collaborations, and promoting the commercialization of research outputs. The Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Unit organizes training programs to increase awareness and competencies in research, innovation, and entrepreneurship, while also supporting academic staff and researchers in accessing national and international funding mechanisms.

Through these three units, the Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Coordination Office aims to contribute to the establishment of a holistic and sustainable research and innovation environment aligned with the university’s strategic goals.
