The Construction and Technical Services Unit is responsible for managing and developing the university’s physical infrastructure. The unit carries out technical services related to the operation of all university buildings, including their construction, mechanical, and electrical systems. It also organizes maintenance and repair processes, prepares technical documentation, and performs the necessary technical operations.

The main duties of the unit are as follows:

Construction of New Buildings: Ensuring the construction of new buildings and facilities in line with the university’s growth and development plans.

Maintenance and Repair: Carrying out regular maintenance and repair work for existing buildings and facilities to ensure their safety and functionality.

Project Management: Planning, designing, and implementing new construction projects.

Infrastructure and Renovation Works: Maintaining and, when necessary, renewing infrastructure systems such as electricity, water, natural gas, heating, and cooling.

Construction Tender Processes: Managing tender processes for construction projects, drafting contracts with construction companies, and ensuring that projects progress in accordance with these contracts.

Compliance with Construction Standards: Ensuring that buildings and infrastructure comply with local construction standards and regulations.

Environmental and Landscaping Works: Conducting environmental planning, creating green areas, and carrying out landscaping activities within the campus.

The Construction and Technical Services Unit significantly contributes to creating a safe and efficient learning environment by improving the university’s physical conditions.
