Mission

Mission

The mission of the Autopsy Assistantship Program is to educate qualified forensic medicine technicians who possess up-to-date scientific knowledge, technical competence, and strong ethical values, capable of effectively participating in medico-legal and medical autopsy procedures. The program aims to train individuals who are meticulous, disciplined, responsible, respectful of human rights, and skilled in teamwork.

The curriculum is designed to equip students with the professional competencies required to coordinate effectively with forensic pathologists, prosecutors, law enforcement officers, and other healthcare professionals. Students are expected to acquire the ability to apply scientific methods in determining causes of death, identifying traumatic findings, maintaining the chain of custody, and contributing to the preparation of forensic reports.

Ultimately, the program seeks to ensure that graduates contribute meaningfully to the clarification of medico-legal cases and the advancement of social justice through the application of scientific methods. With its comprehensive curriculum, strong academic staff, and interdisciplinary approach supported by practical training, the program provides the country’s forensic medicine system with a well-qualified and ethically grounded workforce.
