Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit

Our unit provides support to academics, students, and stakeholders in the following key areas:

University–Industry Collaboration

Within the scope of our goal to contribute to regional, national, and international collaborations for R&D, innovation, and commercialization, the unit acts as a support mechanism for the development and implementation of both industry-driven R&D and technology-based projects and university-driven research projects carried out in collaboration with industry.

In addition, the unit continues to work on establishing collaborations with regulatory institutions and Technology Transfer Offices to strengthen the university’s potential participation in regional partnerships, clusters, and initiatives, particularly in the field of health innovation.

Intellectual Property Rights

The unit conducts awareness, information, and screening activities to ensure that knowledge and inventions produced within the university are protected under intellectual property rights (such as copyrights, utility models, and patents). It also carries out idea evaluation and technology portfolio activities to support the commercialization and practical application of these intellectual assets.

Entrepreneurship

As an active stakeholder in the national and international entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem, the unit provides services to support university-based company formation and technology-based entrepreneurship. In this context, it facilitates access for potential entrepreneurs to support programs, seed funding, growth capital opportunities, and mentorship support, helping them develop and scale their initiatives.
