Dialysis treatment is the process of removing harmful substances such as urea and excess water that have accumulated in the body through an artificial membrane. It is used effectively in the treatment of advanced kidney failure. Dialysis treatment ensures the continuation of life by regulating some of the impaired kidney functions. Dialysis technicians are healthcare professionals who support this treatment.

The aim of the Dialysis Program is to train healthcare technicians to work in dialysis units in the stages of connecting the patient to the dialysis machine, monitoring and treating them, ending dialysis procedures, and maintaining the dialysis machine for diseases requiring dialysis treatment.

Students enrolled in the Dialysis Program at Izmir Tınaztepe University School of Health Services Vocational School graduate as dialysis technicians with high knowledge and equipment, meeting professional and academic quality standards, contemporary, committed to professional ethical values, with a high sense of responsibility and self-confidence, thanks to the sufficient infrastructure of laboratories that closely resemble the clinical environment in hospitals, both in theoretical and practical courses.
