Department of Oral and Dentomaxillofacial Radiology

The Department of Oral and Dentomaxillofacial Radiology (ODMFR) focuses on the clinical and radiodiagnostic examination of tissues in and around the oral cavity. In ODMFR Department, physiological and pathological changes in tissues of the oral and surrounding structures are evaluated clinically and radiologically, and a treatment plan is set up according to diagnosis.

Our aim is to provide our students a dental education based on ethical principles and up-to-date scientific knowledge in our clinics with modern modalities.

Radiation physics, radiobiology, radiation protection, conventional radiographs and advanced radiodiagnostic techniques used in dentistry, oral diseases, benign and malignant tumors of Dentomaxillofacial region, patient anamnesis, clinical examination and diagnostic methods are among the areas of interest of the ODMFR department.
