The Department of Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery; carries on the diagnosis and treatments of pathologies of hard and soft tissues of the jaw, face and oral region. Working areas include normal or surgical extraction of erupted or impacted teeth, dental implant operations, preprosthetic surgery, treatments of cysts and tumors of the jaws, treatment of jaw fractures, orthognathic surgery, treatment of temporomandibular joint diseases, jaw infections, treatment of salivary gland diseases. All these treatments can be performed under local or general anesthesia.
