Department of Prosthetic Dentistry
The Department of Prosthetic Dentistry has been included in the curriculum since the first year of the 5-year dentistry education programme and it covers a large area of all the courses both theoretically and practically.
The Department of Prosthetic Dentistry is a clinical science that takes part in the diagnosis and treatment of tooth shape and form anomalies, huge hard tissue loss or lack of tooth with the rehabilitation of oral functions, occlusion, as well as the patient's appearance and aesthetics by applied prostheses. Treatments within the scope of this department include application of fixed and removable prostheses, maxillofacial prostheses, implant-supported prostheses, and treatment of temporomandibular disorders and obstructive sleep apnea.
